AIM Academy Summer Enrichment Program

Launch into Learning- Ages 5-6 Students will participate in literacy-based activities targeting skills in phonemic awareness, decoding, sight word recognition, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, writing and math skills while learning about Australia.  Lower School students (Grades 1 through 5) will benefit from small group instruction in Reading and Writing, multi-sensory Math computation and fluency, and the arts-based study of Humanities around while exploring the land Down Under. Grades 6-10 will focus on individualized reading and writing instruction, the development of math skills, specialized instruction in STEAM and instruction in the use of assistive technologies for note-taking, study skill development, and time management. Grades 11-12 will focus on college preparation through on-campus course work in ACT Preparation Limited space available.

Language Arts instruction and Recreation Day Camp provides an idea setting for developing and maintaining skills and strategies, building confidence and self-esteem, and having fun while becoming stronger learners and self-advocates. The program includes Benchmark’s internationally recognized language arts program, executive function skills instruction, design thinking activities in our new Innovation Lab, as well as art, science, swimming,  and many sports opportunities. Campers will be challenged on our 35-event Confidence Course, including a 40-foot high, 250-food long Zip Wire. All of these elements make it a summer filled with learning, creating, and fun!
