Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania Camp
Lee Mar is a private residential special needs camp for children
and teenagers with mild to moderate learning and developmental
challenges. A structured environment, individual attention and
guidance are emphasized at all times. Campers enjoy traditional
camp activities PLUS academics, speech and language therapy,
music and art therapy, daily living skills, computers and much
more. We also have therapeutic horseback riding, overnight

Post-ESY Creative Arts Day Camps at The Center on Central
There is a week-long session August 24-28 (1-4pm) and daily sessions August 31-September 4 (9am-12pm and 1-4pm). In the second week, each day will have its own theme, to be presented in the morning session and again in the afternoon session.
• Come participate in creative arts activities which promote meaningful social interactions
• Join us for fun-filled music, art and dance/movement activities with our team of creative arts therapists
• No prior arts experience needed – we structure the group for success
• Group size will be limited to 6 children, ensuring at most a 3:1 child:staff ratio

Wanna Play Program, The
The Wanna Play Program is a stepping stone program designed to build on itself, and to be accessible to children of any age. The program incorporates learning the social strategies needed to navigate the world into fun interaction.
Our six week summer program offers theme based learning that includes goals specific to child’s IEP. Social concepts taught to build the specific social skills for each age group. Sensory-based gross motor activities for sensory regulation and social skill building activities based in play are incorporated into the day for a well-rounded and positive learning experience.
