Ages 4 to 18 years Kids connect with nature at the Environmental Education Complex at the Upper Main Line YMCA. Children experience nature firsthand and explore the Y's Nature Center, Barnyard, Outdoor Garden Classrooms and the Cassatt Preserve, with more than five miles of trails and 20-acres of woods, wetlands, meadow, Darby Creek and one-acre pond. Programs are led by a staff of professional naturalists, teachers and certified instructors. Media Providence Friends School Summer Camp
For over 40 years, MPFS has provided the community with a summer camp progra m designed to keep young minds happy, healthy, and growing all summer long . In a world of packed schedules during the school year, Summer Friends provides some much needed fun in the sun as well as educational activities, field trips, and more! Summer Friends at MPFS provides children ages 3-10 with an opportunity to participate in weekly thematic units, taught by certified elementary teachers. Weekly themes may include space week, tie-dye week, sports week, and under the sea week . Children enjoy the freedom of summer in a welcoming, safe, and relaxed environment. Enriching on- site programs are complemented by field trips to museums, zoos, and other local venues.

Riverbend Environmental Education Center
Summer Exploration Camp

Ages: 3- 13 years (Specialty Camps for ages 10- 13 )
Riverbend campers have been enjoying the great outdoors on our 30 acre nature preserve for 35 years. Riverbend welcomes more than 600 campers each summer for p rograms onsite and across the region with Navigator sessions for 10-13 year olds. While growing each year, Riverbend remains relevant by creating lesson plans fueled by curiosity, exploration and inquiry. Kids from ages 3- 13 spend their days exploring our stream, meadow, forest and ponds in search of animals, plants, and bugs. Riverbend educators use these opportunities to encourage campers to practice 21st century skills like resiliency, self-reflection and grit. Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education's Summer Nature Ramblers & Teen Adventure Treks
Campers Aged 3 – 15
The Schuylkill Center's Summer Camp is an environmentally-based day camp located on 340 acres of fields and forests. Each camp session features a theme that deepens campers' knowledge and awareness of the natural world, throughout the summer and beyond. Themes include nature photography, birds, air and space, ecology, water, and city farms. Campers hike, explore, play in the water, and learn through hands-on discoveries. Adventure Treks challenge 10 – 15 year-olds to improve their outdoor knowledge and skills in a comfortable and supportive setting, with field trips, camping, and 3 – 5 day outings along the east coast.
